No-cost competitive league, or get the NFL Flag rec league you want, in Spring 2026.
With the application below, and a $100 deposit, you get either of:
Competitive Middle School League (as in previous years)
This league is FREE TO PLAY if you can make the cut, and if you show up for all the games and practices (reasonable excused absence is OK). We'll refund your $100 at the end of the season.
Practices are after school Mondays and Wednesdays (or team may choose a different schedule). Games are Monday and Friday afternoons, with some Sunday afternoons.
Tryouts are tentatively Friday, March 13. Depending on registration, there might be an early acceptance tryout round Thursday, February 12. Season runs March 16 through May 10, with spring break 4/11-4/19.
Recreational weekend league if you prefer, or if your player doesn't make a competitive team. We'll place you in the rec NFL Flag league that's the best fit. Your $100 will go towards that league's reg fee, and you'll get these perks:
We will be your player's Sports Agent. If you have a request for these leagues, and other people share your desire, we'll represent the group.
Your rec team will be invited to select Monday afternoon games at Estuary Field. We'll play some out-of-conference teams (last year we hosted San Leandro, Orinda, Winters, and Oakland). Or play a pickup game with some of the Alameda High Hornets.
